The two-part species name: genus (capitalised) plus specific epithet (lower case), both italicised — Knightia eocaena.
The two-part species name: genus (capitalised) plus specific epithet (lower case), both italicised — Knightia eocaena. The genus alone is written with “sp.” when the species is unknown (Knightia sp.); “cf.” marks a tentative comparison and “aff.” a related but distinct form.
