The mineral trade's size classes for specimens: thumbnail fits a 1-inch (2.5 cm) cube; toenail up to about 1.5 inches; miniature up to 2 inches (5 cm); small cabinet up to about 4 inches; cabinet up to about 7 inches; museum above that. Competition rules define the exact limits.
